Tucked just off the main drag in Piano Di Sorrento, this is an absolute gem worth the walk. Gorgeous covered patio just beyond the gated entrance keeps the atmosphere intimate and rustic. All the pricing is relatively on par to other options in the area. However as soon as the food reaches your table it's clear what makes Osteria Estoria worth the little detour. The beautiful plating of every dish halted our party in their tracks before they could dig in, but once we did there was not a member of our party of 6 (which included one vegetarian, two folks with gluten intolerances, and at least one picky eater, myself) who wasn't immediately raving with every bite. Their move to provide house made gluten free bread with the fresh bread for the table was a top tier move. After a long day of touring the area, and some frustration deciding where we wanted to eat, stumbling across Osteria Estoria was like finding an oasis in a desert. Thank you to our server Giulia, and the whole crew for such a lovely experience!

Came from Sorrento to try this place and had a little of everything. From the appetizers, genovese pasta to the stuffed chicken with sausage chestnuts everything was a dream and every bite was just as tasteful as the last. The service was great and even had the chance to say hello to the chefs. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. It was a nice change to the past paced and busy scene in Sorrento. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend if you’re around the area. Worth the short taxi ride.

We were pretty worn out from dealing with the train ride from Naples and our AirBnB host recommended Osteria Estory. I’m very glad they did! We had two spritzes, two bottles of a fantastic aglianico, and a full meal for six people for less than we pay for a cheap meal in the US. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were wonderful! We had the seafood risotto, truffle gnocchi, and spaghetti with clams and everything was top notch. The desserts were even better- we had the lemon gelato, tiramisu, and chocolate semifreddo. I thought the meals we had in Rome were good, but this place was even better! We’ll definitely be back.

Most friendly personnel and best food I’ve in Italy this summer. Everything is fresh and not a typical tourist restaurant. Precies are the same as the one at the water, but you got lots of more value for your money when eating here. I recommend this to everyone who comes to Sorrento!

We’ve been to Venice, Bologna, Florence, Pisa and Rome. While there we visited many recommended restaurants. We arrived a bit late to Sorrento, and the kids were hungry. Since we were staying in the hotel we opted to eat at Osteria Estoria. I can say it was the best food we’ve eaten so far. From the home made Focaccia to the risotto all tasted fantastic. We even got a complementary dish. Service was top class and the wine and atmosphere was so charming. I highly recommend a visit.

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant opened (in true British style !) and our experience was superb. The food was delicious and clearly made from high quality ingredients with thoughtful touches from the chef, like splitting our first course onto two plates so we could share without us having to ask. Our waiters were friendly and made our last evening in Piano memorable. Grazie mille! P.S. The Tiramisu was the best I've had here in Sorrento over the last week! Buonissimo!!

Far from the maddening crowds in Sorrento, this unbelievably exceptional value restaurant offers classic Neapolitan dishes reinvented by using the freshest seasonal ingredients with a modern take. Ambience is refined and there's an alfresco dining option, too. A full four-course meal with wine and water is €75.
